Refund policy

At CB Hobby, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent shopping experience. Please review our policies below before completing your purchase.

Returns

All sales are final. We do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, unwanted items, or buyer’s remorse.

Returns are only accepted if:

- The item you received is damaged, or
- You received the incorrect item.

To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. Returned items must be in their original, unopened packaging with all contents included.

Exchanges

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will first attempt to exchange it for the same item.
If the item is no longer available, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued if an exchange cannot be completed.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 3–5 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Presale Cancellations

Presale orders may be canceled prior to shipment, but are subject to a 3% restocking fee.
This fee covers non-refundable merchant processing fees incurred at the time of your original transaction.
Refunds for approved presale cancellations will be issued to your original payment method minus the 3% fee.

Please note: once a presale item has shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation or return unless it arrives damaged or incorrect.

How to Start a Return or Cancellation

To request a return, exchange, or presale cancellation, please contact us at store@cbhobby.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and (if applicable) photos of the item and packaging.
We’ll respond with instructions and next steps.

Shipping

Return shipping costs are covered by CB Hobby only for damaged or incorrect items.
